The Jack In Us...Do You?
This is a quite wonderful story for our thoughts that i found in the Lectio, about a person named Jack, fell down a cliff and how he solve the problem. Now, here's the story:
A man named Jack was walking along a steep cliff one day, when he accidentaly got too close to the edge and fell. On the way down he grabbed a branch, which temporarily stopped his fall. He looked down and to his horror saw that cliff fell straight down for more than a thousand feet. He could not hang onto the branch forever, and there was no way for him to climb up the steep wall of the cliff. So, Jack began yelling for help, hoping that someone passing by would hear him and lower a rope or something.
"HELP! HELP! Is anyone up there?"
He yelled for a long time but no one heard him. He was about to give up when he heard a voice.
"Jack, Jack, can you hear me?"
"Yes, yes! I can hear you. I'm down here."
"I can see you, Jack. Are you alright down there?"
"Yes, but who are you? And where are you?"
"I am the LORD Jack. I'm everywhere."
"The LORD? You mean, GOD?"
"That's Me."
"God, please help me! I promise if You'll get me down from here, I'll stop sinning. I'll be a really good person. I'll serve You for the rest of my life."
"Easy on the promises, Jack. Let's get you off from there, then we can talk. Now, here's what I want you to do. Listen carefully."
"I'll do anything, Lord. Just tell me what to do."
"OK. Let go OFF the branch."
"WHAT??"
"I said, let go OFF the branch. Just trust Me. Let go."
There was along silence. Finally Jack yelled.
"HELP! HELP! IS ANYONE ELSE UP THERE?"
Have you ever felt like in Jack's situation? Just saying something is a simple thing to do, we'll say that we want to know the will of God. But when we get to know what it is, we could'nt handle it. We're doomed, full of fear, and don't know what to do. We ought to look elsewhere. When He says, "Let go off the things that stand between you and Me, and trust Me in your life", it sounds pretty scary. But when we let go, we find FREEDOM and SAFETY in His hands...

Annual General Meeting CSG-UMS 2009
This year of 2009, the CSG-UMS Annual General Meeting was held again, joyously from 13-15
March 2009 at CSG Center, Shan Tao, KK. Pariticipated by around 50 people, it marks the climax of the CSG 2008/2009 season as new comittee members for 2009/2010 will be voted in this meeting. At the same time, comittees of the current season will summon their portfolios to the new selected comittee. The program started on Friday 12 March with arrival of participants from UMS, followed by the Way of the Cross, held at night of the same day.

The meeting only started during Saturday afternoon. The meeting was chaired by the President,
Lord Kennylister. The first session focuses on annual reports from each bureau in the comittee and followed with a FAQ session. Each bureau mentioned about all the things done throughout the season and problems faced in the bureau. Some improvements for the comittee were suggested on the session, for example the bureaus Tugas Tugas Khas and Kebajikan was combined into a single bureau. At the end of the meeting, the President officialy declared the closing session for season 2008/2009.

Nominations made for each position.....those who are nominated should be nominated by a person and a person to support the nomination. ....lucu sampai ada yang kena tipu ni, kena minta suru tulis nama d ruang penyokong kunun, tapi ruang tandatangan calon sj yang tinggal....NDA PAHAM KA???....Never mind la...

PPSMI...Relevant OR Irrelevant Anymore?
Get bored with Perak's political chaos? Don't worry, Malaysians have another issue to rise up : PPSMI. Recently it has been a very hot issue about the PPSMI module ( Pembelajaran & Pengajaran Sains & Matematik dlm Inggeris ) where it is being questioned, either it is relevant or irrelevant anymore. PPSMI have been a threat to all Malaysian especially the Malays because it may affect the soverignity of the Malay language. Besides that, the Government's decision since the reign of the then Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad to imply the PPSMI module in Mathematics and Science subjects in local schools is seen to be not successful. Consequently, it arises rage among citizens and recently a fierce demonstration erupted in protest of PPSMI.
Persidangan Meja Bulat PPSMI recently gather to decide the resolutions on this matter. As a result, they have come to a conclusion of 7 choices for the Government to decide as a move for the future of PPSMI.

Implementation of PPSMI since 2003 in PMP( Pengajaran & Pembelajaran ) shows bias between rural schools and town schools. According to the President of Students' Council, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Mr. Azrul bin Ibrahim, there is a question about students who came for PPSMI classes ; are they coming to these classes to study Mathematics and Science in English, or just come to these classes just to study English. These actions will reduce the quality of Malaysian education. He also suggests that :
(1) Mathematics & Science will be taught in Malay in primary schools and 2 alternative choices of languages (Malay or English) in secondary schools, meanwhile PPSMI is compulsory in higher education, &
(2) PPSMI only implemented in urban schools, not in rural schools.
Eliminating PPSMI may benefit the education quality, but English should not be put aside from the main focus of National Education Philosophy as the need of English nowdays is very important in order to face the globalisation challenges. Whatever the suggestions are, it is the Education Ministry's and Government's decisions is important for the benefit of the nation and the future of country's education quality.

Heh, usually I wake up quite late on saturdays...but I have to get up so early on that day. I need to go for a tennis friendly match that will start at 8am.....
Sounds quite late to get up....but its OK, the match is juz in my campus, so I don't have to rush....
It is a tiring match for me as it was a very clear and beautiful day, no clouds....and I got burned out playing below the sunshine....from 8am till 3pm!

Actually I dunno much about how does GIMBADI exists....
How....Why....Who started it....I dunno....
But the most crucial of all, GIMBADI is a tale of FRIENDSHIP...
...FRIENDSHIP that is full of SINCERITY.....

...TRUSTWORTHY amongst us.....
