St. Valentine Special : I LOVE YOU - Men's Dilemma and What Will They Do

Thursday, February 5, 2009 - - 0 Comments

Women certainly long to hear men say those special words, "I love you". But to men they mean many different things. It has been a word that is full of divinity – love is such a ‘holy’ word to say. Men have other ways of saying "I love you." "I can sleep with her, marry her, take care of her, but love – that’s something else. Guys don’t like to talk about love. They don’t know what to say. Of course guys do love. But they express it differently."

Unfortunately, some women do not realize this and they become unhappy unless they hear those golden words, I LOVE YOU. Men also need to hear that as well, but they will look at it at a more complicated perspective.

Here are 5 ways men can express love to women :

1. The simplest way is to say ‘I love you’. But in men’s perspective, ‘I love you’ means a lot to them, it is a huge step for them as it is like a life commitment, for others it is like fraught and danger.

In this situation, men are very scared of being rejected when saying ‘I love you’. Rejection is enormously painful for most men, and saying "I love you", can be an invitation to be hurt. For others, the words means, I’m not leaving, or I’ll always be faithful. When a woman hears those precious words, she should step back a moment and put them in context. What do they mean to this particular man, and are there other ways she might also realize that he is expressing his love for her?

2. Men do like show what they can give rather than saying – they like to offer gifts.

Gifts offered sometimes not in the form of wrappings in packages, candies, flowers or special notes. Sometimes women doesn’t aware much other aspects – for example giving time to you. They will spend time with you more than with his friends or families, that is the moment he can show you his love to you.

3. One special thing about men’s personality, they could express their love through being jealous or possessive.

Men are quite special, they offer security to their loved ones. They like to control your movement, lifestyle and especially with whom do you talked to or meet with. Sometimes being overprotecting feels like annoying. But if he wasn’t, truthfully, this will doesn’t mean you are feel loved or cared about. Though that fact many women feel cared for when the man wants is possessive of her. This kind of behavior produces a sense of security. It lets her know she’s on his mind and translates this to mean that he cares. Men do want the women he love to be his important person in his life and be in your mind all the time – he will never want to lose you.

4. Men do like being intimate with the one he loves.

Dating. Sex. Some common examples of intimate actions between men and women. Being affectionate and romantic is another alternative for a men to express his love. It is a moment when it is very close between you and him. The physical contact breaks down barriers and provides a feeling of closeness that they do not feel otherwise. For many men love means meeting her needs and having his needs met as well. Love, in the deepest sense, includes sharing all parts of ourselves with another.

5. Taking you home to meet the family or meet his meaningful friends / close friends is another way men can express his love.

This maybe happen to you in such situation – he will invite you to birthday parties, family reunion dinner or community meetings. Men like making his women be a significant part of his life. They are not only being proud to own you, he also wants you to be introduced and connected to people he meant most to him.
Now, hear men tell you in his very words about what they feel about women and what are they expecting in your relationship. So many acts and expressions of love go unnoticed and unfelt, because we simply get used to them, or are too busy to stop and take note – or to stop and say thank you. Remember that men will feel very vulnerable, childlike, and unable to do what’s expected of them due to love. Then, you can make a better relationship with your loved hubby. Don't you?

Tennis Warcraft at Down Under...Nadal Triumphant

Wednesday, February 4, 2009 - - 0 Comments

It would be triumphant if Roger Federer of Switzerland win the recent Australian Open, he will be alongside Pete Sampras, a famous tennis legend to win 14 Grand Slam titles in career history - a feat he had been hoping to achieve in his 39th major championship. Rafael Nadal however denied Federer’s dream , threw out Federer in the last Sunday Australian Open final in an epic 5 set game, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6(3), 3-6, 6-2. This is the third straight time for Nadal to defeat the Swiss since the 2008 Roland Garros final and the Wimbledon, also in the final. Due to Nadal’s victory, he becomes the 14th man in the Open Era to win three or more of the four Grand Slam titles and just the fourth man in history to win Grand Slam titles on three different surfaces.

Federer’s defeat maybe due to double faults, backhand and unforced errors during the fifth set. Stats from the ATP World Tour said that Federer only made 52 per cent of first serves and served six double faults. His emotions of disguise due to errors committed also affect his performance and opened Nadal’s chance to take over the game. At last, after the 4 hours and 22 minutes battle, Nadal deserved his victory.

Federer could not stand up his emotion during the presentation ceremony. He end up in tears when the champion’s trophy was received by Nadal. It is an unacceptable moment for a player who conquered a championship for a long time have to surrender the crown to others, especially in Federer’s situation – to lose very close in the final set where he have a big chance to win. But sooner Federer would be learning from his mistakes, and eyeing again his big dream – 14 Grand Slam titles.

But what makes the match more interesting is their rivalry. They have been meeting each other in most final matches in Grand Slam events. Matches between them produced an epic continuous battle. They have been a 'trademark' in tennis sports - without them, there's no fight in tennis.
